Bomb Solomon (LAT40.7829420_LON-73.9589530)

Bomb Solomon was placed in the reality-virtuality continuum of the famous Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York. He pins his hopes on being discovered by a future augmented reality film team. That’s because the splendid rotunda where bomb Solomon is hovering was the backdrop for numerous movies (which were of course all set in unaugmented reality). But when they will shoot the first film in the augmented reality bomb Solomon is sure to get the lead role: A lot of bad guys with laser guns will try to shoot the good guys. But they can hide behind big bomb Solomon flying in the middle of the rotunda. Well as least until bomb Solomon will explode…

Bomb Rubix (LAT40.7211480_LON-74.0046440)

Bomb Rubix has been placed in a flat above the famous Canalroom in New York. We got an excited reaction: Although my appartment is already really crouded, I will welcome warmly bomb Rubix in case it can bomb away all 80’s music. Of course Augmented Bombings promised the dear bomb host that our technician is already working day and night on that feature.

Bomb Heather (LAT40.7210670_LON-74.0025660)

In remembrance of a great virtual time the director of Augmented Bombings spent in the gallery “Location One” in 2008 bomb Heather has been placed there. “In the three months of being a so called virtual resident I felt like a kind of augmented object myself.”, the director recalls. The only difference: Even with a smartphone no one could see her. So bomb Heather is probably a great deal more real than the artist has been during her stay.
